In Bangladesh, their local maritime facilities is inadequate. In Chittagong, the problem is the current maximum draft depth of the port is only 9.2 meters, absolutely is not deep enough for most modern container ships. So it needs to transport all goods from the large Marine ships by small boat. Mongla port also has same issue. Due to this situation, we recommended the most appropriate dredger for them: the water flow is 3500m³/h cutter suction dredger. with it, our customer successfully completed the dredging engineering project in three months.
